This is a rare chance to see an exciting programme of the best independent animated shorts from underground Japan, cutting-edge professional animators and animation students. Films range from 30 seconds to 6 minutes. You’ll be guaranteed to see sights you’ve never seen before.

The Cat Club Comic includes comic strips from upcoming artists, interview with Sally Cruinkshank (animator of Face Like a Frog, Sesame Street and Twilight Zone The Movie), illustrations and the work of well known surrealist Dutch oil-painter Paul Kwisthout.
We financed the comic book by holding a benefit party in Westerpark Studios Amsterdam. This was an evening with a very varied programme including theatre, poetry, live-muziek, DJ and even Opera Singer Laurien Schreuder. See Photots Here. After a lot of hard work from us and our volunteers we managed to scrape together the printing costs and are very excited to be presenting our first edition.
